Scientists have identified simple ways to increase life span

According to a study by American scientists, following eight simple healthy habits can increase life expectancy by more than two decades.

According to Health, these habits include being physically active, avoiding opioid abuse, smoking, and regular drinking, managing stress, eating healthy, getting enough sleep, and maintaining positive social relationships.

Among those who were physically active and quit smoking, the risk of death during the study was 30-45% lower.

Managing stress, avoiding alcohol, eating healthy, getting enough sleep, and having positive social relationships can further increase the likelihood of a long life. Each of these habits is associated with a 20% reduction in mortality.

Even small lifestyle changes can have a big impact. For example, you can start by reducing your alcohol intake or becoming more active. Once you get used to these changes, you can gradually incorporate other healthy habits into your daily routine.
