Gyumri branch
General information
According to the Decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia “National Center of Innovation and Entrepreneurship” State Non Commercial Organization with its Gyumri branch was formed on 23 April, 2009.
The Gyumri branch implements technical information and library services.
In 2005 The US Embassy opened the second branch of the "American Corner" which is a small American-style library. "American Corners" contributes to the enhancement of mutual understanding between Armenia and the United States.
The American Corner organizes lectures, seminars, meetings, as well as a demonstration of American movies, English language training, educational consultancy in order to make the information concerning to US available, the entry is free. Activity
The Gyumri branch implements:
- Information service
- Participation in carrying out state policy and implementation
- formation of databases
- organization of thematic exhibitions
- organiztion of meetings and events
Funds
Funds are completed by books, periodicals, normative and technical documents (GOST), industrial catalogs, as well as electronic information: discs, video cassettes, DVD- and etc.
There is 75000 copies of documents in the Gyumri branch.
