Drivers who write SMS while driving are considered more dangerous than the drink

A recent survey by the Canadian Auto Association (CAA) shows that several North American state residents believe a driver sending text messages while driving is more dangerous than one who drives drunk. Not less than 88% of those surveyed claim that using the phone while driving for writing messages or e-mails is very dangerous, while 82% say that drunk driving is very dangerous. Very restrictive laws that affect those who send text messages while driving does not solve the problem, because SMS while driving is dangerous and unacceptable.
