The same as medieval castles are memorable certificates of the concrete cultural-historical period, beacons are certificates of our long-term relations with ocean. In spite of the fact that such technology is still used, new beacons are more similar to modern, functional and unattractive towers in comparison with the constructions constructed in the last centuries. Many of them show decline and negligence, but passionate people worldwide have generated groups for restoration and preservation of this history.
